The Harper’s Story
Harper’s opened its doors on December 29th, 2009 in Corona Del Mar. The 1200 square foot boutique, located on 2610 East Coast Hwy, features a clean minimalist aesthetic that utilizes simple raw materials like polished concrete, stainless steel and zebra wood to achieve a refined and subtle backdrop for the lavish, yet affordable styles.
Harper’s Boutique showcases high-end fashion brands like C&C, Rachel Pally, Goldsign, La ROK, Rory Beca, Sharon Segal, Twelfth Street Cynthia Vincent, but also adds a key factor of chic, affordable brands like, Alternative Apparel, LA Made, Fluxus, and many more fun brands.
The boutique is spearheaded by Erica Thomas, an experienced retailer in Orange County. Seven years ago, Thomas opened her well-known Erica Dee stores, which catered to women, men and kids and was on the forefront of the hip OC boutique scene. In December of 2008, as the climate for brick-and-mortar retailers became more challenging Thomas closed her doors and decided to pursue an online store. In the process of creating the eCommerce site, Thomas realized that her true talent and passion was working one-on-one with her customer base. So, she spent the year developing the new concept, searching for the right location and gaining the support from a team of investors. The store is named after Thomas’ 17th month old daughter, Harper.
